The fourth CoID x Research breakfast takes place on Friday, March 11th, and this time the theme is Participation!
Join us and listen to two inspiring talks given by Andrea Botero from the Department of Media and Anna Kholina from the Department of Design.
Andrea Botero has a broad experience in participatory design and has written a doctoral dissertation titled “Expanding Design Space(s). Design in Communal Endeavours”. As a designer, she explores services, media formats, genres and technologies for collectives, communities and their social practices. At CoID x Research Andrea will introduce her work about co-design process of media technologies developed in collaboration with elderly people.
Anna Kholina is a doctoral candidate at the Department of Design with interest in environmental aesthetics and placemaking. She will tell about New Dipoli project where she and her team redesigned the lobby experience of the iconic building in Otaniemi campus. Anna will uncover the design process and question the role of participatory practices in spatial and experience design contexts.
